There's a statement from Ralph.

"For everyone who knew and loved her, Natasha's death is a terrible, devastating loss. She was a star. A great actress, a beautiful woman, a fiercely loyal friend, a brilliant and generous companion. She was an adoring and loving wife and mother. She was unique. My thoughts and prayers go out to Liam and her beautiful sons, Micheal and Danny and to all her family. I cannot imagine a world without her wit, her love, her mischief, her great, great talent and her gift for living. I loved her very much. She was a supreme friend. I shall miss her deeply." — Ralph Fiennes.

Thank you Sweetralph, I've been hoping someone would interview Ralph about all of this. I love what he says, and I'm sure he meant every word of it. :)

She will be missed so very much and her family and friends are in our prayers. We can only imagine the heartache and pain they are experiencing. I'm sure they can feel our love and support from wherever they are. A wonderful woman will be remembered .

Thank you, SweetRalph, for your posting of Mr. Fiennes' statement. I agree with what Tru said.
I just want to surround all of her family and friends in a big protective hug of healing and loving energy and light. I know in the immediate face of loss, all looks dark; I hope that they will be able to see the light of spirit/life, even if it's just a tiny glimpse at first, very, very soon.

Here's a link to an article that shows clips from some of Ms. Richardson's films.

The article mentions Maid in Manhattan, but doesn't include a clip, so I'm adding this one. I always thought it was the funniest scene in the film...

I've come to believe it's not the length of a life which matters, not the quantity but the quality, the breadth and depth of it. There's a line from a film which has always rung true to me. "The thing to fear is not death, but the unlived life." I believe that Ralph's words and the things others have said, and all I have seen and know of her, testify that Natasha Richardson lived a very well-lived life, one filled with love. That was her grace and beauty, love of life, of the people in her life, of her art. There is a tremendously painful sadness in this loss, but you can't help but smile when you think of her. She will always be remembered with a great deal of warmth and love and a smile in the heart.

You are welcome, ladies.

@ trugiannini
I also loved what he said, so beautifully expressed. It seems he is already in NY to support Liam in this difficult time.

I agree 100% with that. This incident shows how quick it can be over. Many people forget that the most important things in life are not money, career, and all the material things, but life itself, the people we love, and the precious hours we spent with them.
