Nominations for the 81st Academy Awards

No nomination for Ralph Fiennes!! This doesn't really come as a surprise to us, does it? It is disappointing, but this is not the end of Ralph's career. Ralph Fiennes will continue to prove his outstanding talent and there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that sooner or later he will win the Academy Award he deserves. Quality will prevail in the end, despite Hollywood politics.

I'm so sas about this I can't even express it... I was almost sure he would have at least ONE nomination for any of the THREE films he had last year... But anyway, I'm still sure he will win it some day, he DESERVES it and Justice must prevail.

well i think his best work is ahead of him......so we are in a win win situation...he is wonderful now but he will only get better!

Dear Nyona!
It's my 'ultimum refugium' too. Time will cure everything, this unjustice too - I hope (if not, I made a mistake) As I wrote it in another file I fear for him for this serial rejections. What can a normal human being endure ? To give an award for a dead man is rather ridiculous when great living actors get nothing. This poor man feels no joy already being awarded. ( I don't know how many money is closed to the statuette - because that can be the only reason. to help the family left behind)
(By the way: I wrote you a letter on the given address , but Windows sent me back not finding the address. Are you back from the States?)
