All Things Ralph

I haven't posted anything on this site yet so I thought I would begin at the beginning. If it's possible to recall, in what movie or television program did you have you're first Ralph moment? A place in time when the light came on and you realized what talent and/or handsomeness :) you were witnessing. The moment came for me when I was watching Red Dragon. It's the scene where he is waiting in his van for Reba to walk out of the building to wait for the bus. The way the blue lighting accentuated his facial features is what made my jaw drop. So, yes, it was his unbelievable handsomeness that hooked me at first. But then once I was hooked, I realized what a talented and phenomenal actor he is.

Can you remember the moment it happened to you?

From the moment I saw Red Dragon I was in love with him and his sexy voice, from when he was the shy quiet kind version of Francis to the dark and monsterous serial killer! xD So I have to agree with Lyra. Oh! Also the scene where he's in bed and looks so peaceful makes him look soo adorable waking up after a night with Reba. He did such a damn good job playing one of my favorite characters.

I discovered RF by total accident. My Dad had died on Christmas eve and so the holiday was a tortuous affair. I couldnt sleep one night so I sat up watching sky movies snd Onegin was shown. There it hit me....I was totally drawn in by RF and I searched thereafter for all his movies. He has been the best therapy for me, and when I feel a bit down I will pop in a dvd or listen to him reading the english patient. to quote Paul Weller 'You(ralph) do something to me'

"Onegin": now recently seen and thus I try to pull also the very first films with him "at country", perhaps, also that series of 1991. From August this year I am only entrancedly from him, read parts of his biography and one dives slowly indeed into his real being what one never gets to see on the canvas: alarmingly, sadly, one agrees a sort of compassion with a big artist, did one have to do this possibly? I let the question be open sometimes.

"However, Manhattan Love story "or" maiden in Manhattan" what Ralph Fiennes again would not find great is able to do nothing for the fact that this film met me as first, afterwards only the "red dragon". No, Finnes wandered about not surprised in the film as a representative, he came along in such a way as one may fancy a modern Prince Charming: attractively, clever, indeed: it may not have satisfied him all around (no sex with meant) was, however, just a work which he has done and I like her till this day. I wished, Fiennes could give me answer whether he reacted really so as I promise it to him as a fanciful figure on the head (fanciful because I simply allow to be 60 years Fiennes, there cannot take exception real to it, it happens also more than only gossip): though he tries to control himself, however, tries out whether mental pain becomes lower by physical pain. And just: also in connection with him, as Fiennes could feel if one says him: "Yes, my favorite film is MIM." What mine is not now really, this will remain rather "The everlasting gardener" or "The duchess" or "spider".

The everlasting gardener (The Constant Gardener)

more than an improvement of the mistakes, (programme PROMT cannot be retuned, the everlasting one remains so stand.)
One will read: anyhow I cannot decide to which film with Fiennes I should give the advantage, 2 older films will still come, may be that then these are even more consistent: "The end of an affair" and "quiz of show".

There they are again, the astonishing: German in English. Forever simply does not mean constant.
What I like with the gardener so? The notion. As sensitively one would like to experience the private individual Fiennes with pleasure, see, have possibly as colleagues. Why possibly: has expressed somewhere else quite in writing: I would be without fear. Can one never be certainly there, but why, actually, fear of the person Fiennes have? If this let me go by the head when I listened to the additional infos to the "duchess" and read how the Potter's actor felt: Fear, too much in reverence for the big mime. I write only, do not play, but my writing is the reason, why I get up every morning.
No, the sadness in the "gardener", one must accept, hear about that away if he cries, the smile and the presence are more important to me than, perhaps, the question: "How real is his grief?" The spectator nowhere has real blood, on it a right, neither if the actor on the stage stands nor in the film. Fortunately, does not shoot off to themselves Fiennes in the "Brugge" film really the head - fast another picture from that film which my friend found dull. I improve with pleasure my mistakes, because they load me and the everlasting gardener then I write just in such a way...
The Brugge film lines up itself almost seemlessly one in the experience which I have gained with the English patient: the patient once can see, then ascertain: yes, the flirtation is very much in order, mask does not go and I must also not have the endless sadness, on photos the happy man was often to be seen where he has got to. Brugge film and film about the duchess: appears almost as if he regrets having no children, one does not know even this exactly. He can handle fantastically with them, understanding and quietly when he explained the weapon, one of the nicest moments in the film as Duke to the boy.
My friend what knows to her? He pulls me good-natured on because of my fan existence, Fiennes is no fashion appearance, the mysterious fascinates to even more. Yes, I have not written the letter, cannot write, not printed because I do not know of what one should inform Fiennes then really on the 22.12 in writing what he already does not know and why bore him.
