Ralph to Star with Kidman

Looks like our dearie will be doing another movie with Minghella. Not sure if this is true however, because he's supposed to be shooting Snow Country I thought this fall....I've asked Aireen to look into it with the reps:-)

Nicole Kidman and mile-high Casanova Ralph Fiennes are set to star in a sweeping love story, "The Reader". The film is based on the best selling novel by German writer Bernhard Schlink about a man's affair with an older woman in post-WWII Germany. Anthony Minghella (The English Patient) and Sydney Pollack (Eyes Wide Shut) will produce, with Stephen Daldry (The Hours) attached to direct the steamy movie. Kidman had better watch out - Fiennes has a notorious affection for Australian blondes, following his antics with stewardess Lisa Robertson on a Qantas flight earlier this year. According to Variety, shooting is slated to begin in Berlin in September.
