I hope all is well with you. I was looking at everyone's pages and I saw where you live in Isreal. I've always wanted to visit. My great-grandfather was from Haifa. Unfortunately, I don't have the means to travel outside my area of the U.S. so I do it vicariously through books and films and the internet. Maybe one day. : )

Joy Benson here. I am rather new to this site and it is the first time I have ever joined such a group, but I am. indeed, an admirer of R. Fiennes. I'm wrting you because I too am a writer. Also, because you are in Israel , which I am drawn to. I wonder what drew you to Israel after living in the Ukraine. Also, you write you "adore" Ralphh Fiennes and he is your main inspiration. I'm interested in knowing what it is that attracts us to this particular actor, with such passion. You say"adore" him and "main inspiration." In what way does he inspire you, do you think? It's all so interesting to me.

The note was as it says, a simple thank you on a plain notecard. I had sent Ralph some biscotti when he did Faith Healer on Broadway and I wrote to him a few times. He sent the card the last week of the play. As a matter of fact, it was two years ago yesterday that I received it! : ) He just said he appreciated my letter and gift. It was really sweet and I'll always cherish his thoughfulness. : )
