Ralph in Chromophobia

Watched this again last night (2nd time). Ralph's portrayal of Stephen, the sensitive,
gay, historian was Perfect. A scene where Stephen watches the Greek/African boy do
his Tai Kwon Do moves, is artistry at it's finest. The subtle movements of his mouth,
eyebrows and eyes give everything and nothing away, but it's clear that there is
interest there. In this role he doesn't project any personality/type, he just Is. Very
difficult to do I would think. The film, written and directed by Martha Fiennes, is modern
and pretty classy - wouldn't appeal to the Box Office financially - but Fiennes, in my
view has Never given a Bad Performance! What do others think? :)

I wish this film were available in the US. I have yet to see it, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. I have no doubt about Ralph's performance. I've never seen a bad one.

Yes, I remember, even then, it didn't hit me. KST seemed to be in shock most of
the film, I think she came-to when she got Damian Lewis from the train. :)

A friend of mine surprised me this movie a week ago, so I am so happy it's amongst my Ralph Fiennes dvd collection!!! Unfortunately here in Hungary haven't been released on dvd.

I really loved that way as he portrayed this character, and wacth again in these days.
