Ralph Fiennes...love him no matter what.

What role should he play?

Hi everybody,

I would like to know something: if you could make a wish, waht kind of role would you like to see Ralph play?

As far as I can remember, he did a little singing in The english patient and The prince of egypt. I have also seen a clip on youtube.com from the Faith Healer, where he did it.

I think it would be great to see him in a role like Kevin Kline in De-Lovely. Biographic and musical. That would be interesting and completely different to his work so far.

What do you wish for? Diana1401

I want him singing himself!

Don't be selfish, Tessa! LOL. Joking apart, it would be great if Ralph could sing again, in a musical maybe... He would be perfect and his voice is wonderful.

I I would like to see Ralph prtraying the role of a father, you know, a real family man. It might be interesting.

I remember Rex Harrison in "My Fair Lady" and I think Ralph would be absolutely perfect as Professor Henry Higgins... Imagine Ralph singing: "Why can't a woman be more like a man?", or "I've grown accustomed to her face"... He would be simply irresistible.

Hey, playing a father or at least a father figure to some child - also a nice aspect !
Haven't thought of that at all - "Maid in Manhattan" was something else so far, but JLO?? Hmmm...

The best chemistry he ever had on screen was with Kristin Scott Thomas I think... but that's only my opinion. This could open a discussion for itself....

I agree with Diana. I liked him with Kristin Scott Thomas, the best chemistry with her, to me. But I liked also Julianne Moore...

Yes, Linda, you're right. It would be wonderful if could be done a remake of some of Spencer Tracy's and Katherine Hepburn's films. Imagine "Adam's Rib" or "The Woman of the Year"! I like the idea.
