Ode to Autumn - John Keats

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness!
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun;
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eaves run;
To bend with apples the mossed cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For Summer has o'erbrimmed their clammy cells.

Who hath not seen thee oft amid thy store?
Sometimes whoever seeks abroad may find
Thee sitting careless on a granary floor,
Thy hair soft-lifted by the winnowing wind;
Or on a half-reaped furrow sound asleep,
Drowsed with the fume of poppies, while thy hook
Spares the next swath and all its twined flowers;
And sometimes like a gleaner thou dost keep
Steady thy laden head across a brook;
Or by a cider-press, with patient look,
Thou watchest the last oozings, hours by hours.

Where are the songs of Spring? Ay, where are they?
Think not of them, thou hast thy music too, -
While barred clouds bloom the soft-dying day
And touch the stubble-plains with rosy hue;
Then in a wailful choir the small gnats mourn
Among the river sallows, borne aloft
Or sinking as the light wind lives or dies;
And full-grown lambs loud bleat from hilly bourn;
Hedge-crickets sing, and now with treble soft
The redbreast whistles from a garden-croft;
And gathering swallows twitter in the skies.

Hi T,

Can we now get a copy of 'The actors studio' with RF? I have tried to find it but maybe I am looking in the wrong place!!!!! Do we have to download it from somewhere???

Have a look at this article on our boy in 2000, you may have seen it before...

Must go to bed now, it's almost midnight. Glad you are enjoying the spring, how's that gale force wind?? It is pretty miserable here. Wet and windy, but autumn is my favourtie time of year, I love all the mists and smokey, earthy smells.........

Bye for now

Hi T,

I absolutely love your new look page!!! You clever girl!!!!! When is The Duchess coming to Oz???

I have been busy reading everything that I have missed while I've been away..... Lilly is quite a girl!!!! I will get in touch with her today, she sounds fun!!!! I have also been interested in what you have been saying about meditation and would love to try it....... So you have a dog, what is it called?? How old are your kids?? Do you know any Ralph addicts living near to where you live?? I would love to talk to one face to face...... To hug such a person would be an honour!!!!! To hug you or Kim or Liza would be amazing. To meet you all and stay up all night watching our favourite Ralph movies and chat about them would be my idea of a great night in!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw the Duchess last night. It was very good and I really enjoyed it. I want to see it again as the first time you can't take everything in!!!! Keira is the main character and was very good. Ralph was gorgeous, as ever and played the part really well. His character is a quiet man of few words. There are lots of close ups of his face and eyes..... Those eyes drive me crazy, sort of bluey grey from a distance, then close up, sort of greeny hazel in the centre with a grey outer rim. Go to bed eyes, I would call them.....If those eyes looked into mine, they would be saying, don't try and resist me, just give in !!!!!!!!!!
And his lips........don't even go there!!!! They are just about the most kissable lips that I have ever seen..Mmm....... Delectable man, I bet he is a great kisser, I wouldn't say no!!!!!

He was perfect as the Duke, a different role for him especially with the wig, but he was great. He really became the Duke to me, I didn't see Almasy or Heathcliff........... It is amazing how the same person can look and be so different each time he takes on a role, but I suppose that's why he is an actor!!!!!!

There is one scene where he takes off his clothes on his wedding night. WOW.......... A FINE FIGURE OF A MAN OR WHAT!!!!!!!! Hairy, muscley, he really does it for me!!!!!!!!!

You will love it!!!!

I still haven't see In Bruges.........or B & D!!!!!!!!!!

Great to hear from you

Hi Trugannini (how in the world do you pronounce your name???) Thanks for the kind words. I was THRILLED that everyone can find the interview now. It is really, really great isn't it? I felt bad I couldn't get it on the site. Autumn is arriving - my favorite time of year. Hopefully, the Duchess will be playing here soon - now that would be a perfect Autumn evening! Blessings, Kim

Trugannini,
If you click on "theme" under your picture, and then go down a little to "theme settings," there are all the different areas for your page layout, and when you click on one of the page areas, the little box of colors comes up. The one that I have purple is under "Body & Content Area" and then under "Body Background" I just clicked the purple color from the box that pops up with all the different color boxes. I don't know if it has a "save settings" -- I assume it does -- but don't forget to click on that when you're done.
I hope that will work for you. Let me know if it doesn't.

Dear trugannini,
I have no news of the Almásy-story, that's the reason (and of course the eternal time -pressure) I didn't write for several days. I didn't meet my old friend, so even I myself know nothing about the real situation. If I get new data I'll write you immediately.

I don't know!!! I think I will be so enamored by him -- his voice, his words, his eyes, his movement -- that I won't be paying attention at all to the content in the play! The tickets for the different nights are for both sides of the theatre. The one on Friday is on the right side (as if you're looking from the stage) and three rows back, and the one on Sat. night is on the left side in the first row of the normal seating and really quite toward the center. I had to do it that way because I wanted to be able to see and hear him from two different angles -- which some of my friends think just sounds pathetic, but I think it's perfectly understandable :)
I was angry with a friend the other night but didn't tell her (because it wasn't a big deal -- just really irritating); so I got on Liza's page and listened to him recite "How the Whale Got His Throat," which I just love, about three times and by the time I was done listening, I was calm and the anger was gone. I found a new way to "let go" of ugly feelings in a positive way :) I haven't thanked Liza yet for her selection but I intend to.
He did look so stunning in those pictures from The Duchess premier, didn't he?
How are you doing across the world? Is it getting into Spring there? I'm ready for fall. I love fall. It's so beautiful.

Trugannini,
Thanks to your encouragement in looking for the best in things, I decided to change my original trip date to see Oedipus and I just got two tickets (one for Fri. and one for Sat) the week of Thanksgiving -- which, in itself, is wonderful to me to spend the holiday in London -- but I got better seats, just a few rows away from the stage. So I'm very, very excited!!
Again, I thank you for your positive and encouraging energy here and also with what you've shared with me. It's much appreciated, and I've been challenging myself to get a better mental outlook on things, which seems to be working slowly but surely.
